GLASVEGAS, CUSTOMS, MINI MANSION & MORE ADDED TO THE LINE UP!
Here are some more names that have just confirmed their presence at the festival.
On Thursday GLASVEGAS from Scotland will build their impressive Wall Of Sound, full of broken hearts. The bouncy THE GO! TEAM will be ready to entertain you with their energizing blend op pop, noise, hip hop and cheerleader yells. The boisterous sounds of our national rock heroes, SORE LOSERS and RIVAL SCHOOLS (their 3rd time at Pukkelpop) will no doubt whip up the crowd’s enthusiasm. From California we welcome YOUNG THE GIANT, one of the favourite bands of Morrissey. They recently gave a stunning performance in the Botanique in Brussels. You can sing along with ‘Moneygrabber’ and other catchy soul numbers of FITZ & THE TANTRUMS.
Three new, extremely interesting names have been added to the Friday line-up. You will make the acquaintance of MINI MANSIONS, the band of Queens Of The Stone Age bass player Michael Shuman, who will show his most Beatlesque side. ALICE GOLD is another artist to keep an eye on. This brisk London blonde’s favourite sources of inspiration are Janis Joplin and Alicia Key. And forewarned is forearmed: the 2011 steamroller band is called TRASH TALK, hardcore of the highest quality. We welcome THE HICKEY UNERWORLD a day later, as they move from Thursday to Friday.
On Saturday, CUSTOMS will present new work for the first time. We are eagerly looking forward to it. We are also curious to find out how the French HOUSSE DE RACKET will warm up the Dance Hall on the same day.
