ALICE COOPER CANCELS SONISPHERE SPAIN SHOW!
Alice Cooper will not be in the Spanish edition of Sonisphere. Several months after confirming their presence at the festival, logistical complications in the artist’s world tour make it impossible to present in Getafe on 16 July. The organizers of the festival has tried to maintain the performance of Alice Cooper at all costs by putting all sorts of facilities for it, but has not been possible.
Alice Cooper’s replacement will be Uriah Heep. With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, the legendary British hard rock and heavy metal progressive, active since the early 70’s, still a cult band in Britain and the United States and remains a band ‘stadium’ in countries like Germany, Holland, Serbia, Japan and Russia.
Uriah Heep have more than 20 studio albums and a dozen direct. Their latest study, ‘Into The Wild’, went on sale this 2011.
We also take to announce that the street supergroup Blaas Of Glory will be at Sonisphere 2011. This is a massive band that spontaneous act in a compound at different points of playing classic heavy metal. Arriving from Amsterdam, but have been claimed since its formation in 2007 by many of the most important events on the planet metalheads. Versions of Van Halen, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Europe will flood the atmosphere of the Open Air Getafe during the days of 15 and 16 July.
