Pukkelpop Festival 2012, BelgiumMORE THAN 40 NEW NAMES ADDED TO PUKKELPOP LINE UP!

The Pukkelpop line-up is growing fast. A few weeks ago organizers announced the first truckload of names: Foo Fighters, Björk, The Stone Roses, Bloc Party, The Black Keys and loads more. Today they have added more than forty names to the list.

How about Lykke Li, who scored THE hit of the year with ‘I Follow Rivers’? Chase and Status will show up for a steaming DJ set on the Main Stage. And you can start growing your beards. Grandaddy has reunited and will return to the Pukkelpop stage. Band of Skulls, Andy C: Alive, Knife Party, Apparat Band, Jamie Woon, Jakwob Live, Goose, Com Truise, Niki & The Dove, Willy Moon and Yashin will join the Pukkelpop party on Friday 17th August.

On Thursday 16th August Netsky, currently Belgium’s most successful export product, will be making an appearance.  And so will Bush: Gavin Rossdale and his mates are back again. And keep that cello bow at the ready, Apocalyptica will also be present this summer. More Thursday acts on the Pukkelpop fields are: Tinie Tempah, Social Distortion, Example, Touche Amore, Django Django, Labrinth, Bowerbirds and Mumbai Science.

On the last festival day, Foo Fighters will be joined on the Main Stage by The Hives, Swedish rockers with an attitude, and The Cribs, a band that will play at Pukkelpop for the fifth time. In the Boiler Room A-Trak, Diplo, Feed Me a.o. will provide the beats. In the Dance Hall there will be some nice people on the dance floor: Gesaffelstein Live and Major Lazer. Other acts on Saturday are: The Antlers, Ghost, Bob Mould performs ‘Copper Blue’, C2C, Pulled Apart by Horses, Ceremony, Howler, Daughter and Jamie N Commons.
