Rock A Field Festval, Roeser, LuxembourgROCK A FIELD FESTIVAL ADDS LAST 2 BANDS FOR THIS YEAR!

With this year’s event on track to be another success Rock a Field organisers have announced the last 2 bands for this year’s line up!

Besides playing all the major European festivals including Oxegen and T in the Park, US band ALL TIME LOW have been confirmed for Sunday 26th June, joining them are punk gods VERSUS YOU from Luxembourg.

In other news Arcade Fire will now play on the A Stage allowing organisers to fit more big screens and visual production to this year’s event.

Each year, Exit festival promotes Serbian and regional performers, both less and more famous around here and Europe. Exit Festival’s Main Stage 2011 is playing host to some of these areas’ favorite. Alongside the already announced Petrol, we will see Jinx, Darkwood Dub and S.A.R.S.

Also, a whole bunch of domestic and regional bands have confirmed their performances around all the festival stages this year. We have already announced Partibrejkers, Irie FM, The Good Guys, Gramophonedzie and Svi na pod, now adding to them Atheist Rap, Killo Killo, Ringispil and Kandzija.

Hove Festival 2011KASABIAN ADDED TO HOVE FESTIVAL LINE UP

English band KASABIAN, who in 2010 was voted “Best Act In The World Today” by music magazine Q, have been confirmed for this summer’s big adventure at Hove.  This will be the first time that the band have played in Norway

KASABIAN are also favorite band Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher (the only thing the two agree?), And have played with them on several occasions.  In other words, time for bold, electric, British rock at Hove this summer.

Sonisphere Festival Czech RepublicSONISPHERE CZECH REPUBLIC IS BACK FOR A 2ND YEAR!

The second annual Sonisphere festival will take place on June 11th at Milovice airport – about 30 km from Prague.

The headliners are heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN who will be joined by nu-metal pioneers KORN, Brazilian fighters led by the brothers Cavalera that are CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and psychedelic-metal band MASTODON.

Exit Festival SerbiaEXIT FESTIVAL ADDS TRIP-HOP LEGENDS PORTISHEAD

Named after Geoff Barrow’s hometown, PORTISHEAD consists of Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utley and are widely known as the purveyors of trip-hop which is resounding in their three albums, most recognizable from their 1994 debut Mercury Music Prize album Dummy which set the bar of many imitators over the years.

PORTISHEAD are evidently as influential to their peers are they are to their fans, recently inspiring The Horrors and curating All Tomorrow’s Parties in London. Their fourth album is set to be released in 2011, again no doubt pushing new boundaries. Their performance at EXIT is eagerly awaited and will be sure to send a wondrous energy throughout the night!

Good news for fans of metal and noise – organizers reveal a coveted crown jewel and one of the more unpolished diamonds in the Xmas gift bag.

AUTOPSY (US) and WEEKEND (US) deliver death metal and noise rock, respectively. Both bands are new additions to the Roskilde 2011 programme.

Bloodstock Festival UK With organisers confirming IMMORTAL as 2011 headliners shortly after Bloodstock 2010 closed, they have now added two more top metal bands in the form of RHAPSODY OF FIRE and TRIPTYKON!
